The Monique Side Chair by Sika Design is a handcrafted wicker bistro chair. Taking cues from café chairs seen everywhere in Paris, the chair has a classic look with enduring elegance. Crafted from sustainable rattan, the design features a tall slatted back and a gently curved, extra-wide seat. ArtFibre™, a proprietary polyethylene material, lends strength and flexibility to the seat. The process of bending solid rattan creates “stretch” marks in the rattan. These permanent marks attest to the handmade authenticity of the chairs and guarantee that each is an original creation. Made to last, the Monique chair is an indoor design, ideal for commercial and residential use.
